We trap nuisance foxes using traps.

 

The traps we prefer to use are:

  • Pedal door activation

 

  • Pull-cord activation

The traps cause no harm to the captured fox, nor any other animal if accidentally trapped, therefore, if a cat accidentally managed to become trapped in one of our traps, it would simply be released.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
The traps are baited with dog/cat food, cakes, bread, chicken carcases etc.
 
 
 
 
 
 The fox(es) are attracted to the traps by bait and other lures and will trigger the trap on entry, catching them in the process.
 
 
Traps must be checked every 24 Hrs, ideally at first light each morning.
