Whenever poisoning - accidental or deliberate - is suspected, you should seek professional advice and report the incident to the Wildlife Investigation Scheme, which is concerned with any poisoning by pesticides of wildlife, livestock or pets.

 

 

To report the incident, telephone: 0800 321 600, so that a Wildlife Officer can consider the facts, conduct an investigation and possibly take enforcement action.

 

 

Only by understanding how poisoning occurs can incidents of this nature be prevented.

 

 

The DEFRA - funded Campaign Against Accidental or Illegal Poisoning (CAIP) promote good practice amongst those legitimately using pesticides.
